Gleirschklamm
Gleirschklamm

From Scharnitz via the Isarsteig, the trail takes you past the Scharnitzer Alm to the entrance of the Gleirschklamm gorge and then down into the valley to the Möslalm. The hiking trail offers relaxation, untouched nature and picturesque places to replenish your energy reserves. The splashing of the water in the gorge has a calming effect on the mind and impressively represents the force of the water that has sought its way through the mountain here over many years, creating this beautiful gorge. The tranquillity along the entire path allows you to really appreciate the beauty of this region. Far away from the hustle and bustle, it is therefore an ideal place for deceleration in the usually stressful everyday life. The hiking trail is pleasantly passable even on hot summer days. Thanks to the water in the gorge, it is several degrees cooler here than in the open countryside and thus a refreshing cool-down on the way to the alpine pasture. The route can be experienced both as a hike with the same outward and return route, as well as a circular hike.
