Highlight: 100,000 lights trail

Duration: approx. 30 minutes | Difficulty: easy | Length: 1.7 km | Starting point: Seefeld town centre

The 100,000 Lights Trail in Seefeld is a real winter highlight. In the evening hours, from dusk until 10 p.m., the region shines in festive splendour. The circular trail begins in Seefeld town centre, passing the lovingly decorated Christmas tree and the sparkling Christmas market. The route continues over the Pfarrhügel hill, from where you can enjoy an impressive view of the Wildsee lake. The trail ends at the Seekirchl chapel, which is illuminated by lights – and in front of which a large Advent wreath glows in the water.

Winter walk Wildsee – Pfarrhügel – Seekirchl

Duration: approx. 1¼ hours | Difficulty: easy

This beautiful little lake loop takes you on a winter walk from the historic Seefeld village square around Lake Wildsee and back again. Along the way, you can enjoy magnificent views of the snow-covered landscape and the iconic Seekirchl chapel.

Winter walk to the Gaistalalm

Duration: approx. 2½ hours | Difficulty: easy

The well-signposted, wide hiking trail leads directly to the mountain pasture at an altitude of 1,366 metres. The Gaistalalm is a family-friendly traditional hut with a long history and offers a cosy place to stop for refreshments.

Winter walk Friedensweg

Duration: approx. 1½ hours | Difficulty: easy

The contemplative Peace Trail leads from the Mösern Information Office via seven spiritual stations around Lake Mösern to the Peace Bell. The trail invites you to pause and reflect while offering beautiful views of the winter landscape.

Snowshoe hikes

Brunschkopf (Path No. S1)

Duration: approx. 2 hours | Difficulty: medium | Distance: 5 km

This moderately difficult snowshoe hike begins at the idyllic Wildmoosalm. The Brunschkopf panoramic trail leads over the Möserer Höhe to the Brunschkopf viewpoint. Enjoy impressive mountain panoramas, which are particularly impressive when viewed through high-quality Swarovski binoculars. The descent is via the Blattsteig trail to Mösern.

Gschwandtkopf (Path No. S2)

Duration: approx. 2¼ hours | Difficulty: moderate | Distance: 5 km

The tour starts at the village square in Seefeld and first leads to the idyllic Wildsee lake. Then the ascent through the snow-covered winter forest up to the Gschwandtkopf begins. A fantastic panoramic view awaits you at the top. The Sonnenalm invites you to take a well-deserved break and refreshment.

Pleisen Hut (Path No. S8)

Duration: approx. 6 hours | Difficulty: medium | Distance: 15.8 km

This impressive snowshoe hike leads from the Scharnitz Nature Park Information Centre to the Pleisenhütte hut. During the winter months, the hut is open on weekends, and overnight accommodation is also available on request. The route offers spectacular views and varied winter landscapes.
