Hike to the Seefeld peak

Starting point: Rosshütte cable car valley station - the hike can also be started from the hotel
Difficulty: Medium

This impressive mountain tour takes you past the picturesque Kaltwassersee lake and the rustic Hocheggalm to the Rosshütte middle station. From here, the route climbs a little steeper up to the Seefelder Joch and on to the Seefelder Spitze. The tour rewards you with picturesque views over the entire Seefeld high plateau. If you wish, you can continue from here to the Reitherspitze and Nördlinger Hütte. Sure-footedness and good footwear are required for this section of the route.

Tip: The hike can also be completed as a bike & hike tour. Connoisseurs can use the Rosshütte mountain railway up to the Seefelder Joch. Climbers will find the start of the Seefeld panoramic via ferrata just a few steps away from the middle station of the Rosshütte cable cars

Rosshütte

Gschwandtkopf

The Gschwandtkopf is easily accessible by chairlift and opens up a sunny hiking area with magnificent views. Whether it's a leisurely circular route, a stop at a mountain hut or a short walk - here, connoisseurs, families and those seeking peace and quiet get their money's worth. The lift takes you directly up to around 1,500 metres, where nature and relaxation await you.

Katzenkopf

In the picturesque village of Leutasch, the modern chairlift takes you comfortably up to the Katzenkopf. Family-friendly hiking trails, a summer toboggan run and a rustic hut with a magnificent view of the valley await you at the top. A varied destination for nature lovers and explorers.

The leisurely hike to the Muggenmoosalm starts in Leutasch and takes you through picturesque forests and idyllic alpine meadows with a fantastic panorama of the Wetterstein mountains. The trail is ideal for families and connoisseurs. Once you arrive at the Muggenmoosalm, hearty Tyrolean specialities and a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains await you. Event tip: Karwendel March

The Karwendel March is a firm fixture in the region’s summer calendar – a unique nature and sporting experience. Every year in August, over 2,000 participants set off early in the morning from Scharnitz to complete the 52 km route through the Karwendel Nature Park to Pertisau. Whether running or hiking – the impressive route through unspoilt mountain scenery, past alpine pastures, streams and peaks, delights endurance athletes and nature lovers alike. An unforgettable event for everyone who loves the mountains.
