Gaistal-Rotmoosalm
Gaistal-Rotmoosalm Bike Route

From the Salzbach car park in Leutasch, the cycle path runs along the Leutascher Ache. The route through the idyllic Gaistal is not only very flach at the beginning, but also offers beautiful views of the surrounding nature during the ride. Afterwards, a steep forest road leads you from the Gaistalalm to the Rotmoosalm. However, only experienced cyclists should ride here. The sometimes very rough gravel requires a certain level of safety on the bike. Once at the top, the Schönberg peak lies above the Rotmoosalm. Here the view of the surrounding mountain ranges is particularly beautiful. This place of power, as well as the Rotmoosalm, can be used as a resting place before carefully descending again. The bike tour, which is classified as difficult, also leads you through a pasture area, which you should cross quickly and quietly. The beautiful mountain landscape and the meadows invite you to linger, recharge your batteries and let your mind wander on route number 553. Up here, cyclists have a great view of the surroundings.
