The Seefeld high plateau, at an altitude of 1,200 metres, offers ideal conditions and guaranteed snow for Nordic winter sports. Over 245 kilometres of trails, awarded the Tyrolean seal of quality, lead through a stunningly beautiful winter landscape. The network of trails on the high plateau, which connects the five main towns of Seefeld, Mösern, Leutasch, Reith and Scharnitz, offers classic and skating-style trails as well as special trails such as night trails, a dog trail and a trail suitable for cross-country sledding.

Seefeld offers a Nordic competence center with one of the most modern biathlon facilities in Europe. Seefeld has hosted the Olympic Nordic competitions three times to date, in 1964, 1976 and 2012, and after 1985, Seefeld hosted the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships for the second time in 2019.

The easy cross-country skiing trail is ideal for all beginners and both techniques (classic & skating). The trail runs for approx. 3 km through the picturesque Möserer Valley, starting and ending at Seefeld's landmark, the Seekirchl.
