The Seefeld high plateau, at an altitude of 1,200 metres, offers ideal conditions and guaranteed snow for Nordic winter sports. Over 271 kilometres of trails, awarded the Tyrolean seal of quality, lead through a stunningly beautiful winter landscape. The network of trails on the high plateau, which connects the five main towns of Seefeld, Mösern, Leutasch, Reith and Scharnitz, offers classic and skating-style trails as well as special trails such as night trails, a dog trail and a trail suitable for sledding.
Cross-country skiing holiday in the world championship region of Seefeld
Seefeld offers a Nordic competence centre with one of the most modern biathlon facilities in Europe. The region has hosted the Nordic competitions at the Olympic Games three times (1964, 1976, 2012). True to the motto ‘Hand in hand – Let’s celebrate a Nordic ski festival’, Seefeld was once again the host and venue of the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships in 2019, following on from 1985, welcoming top athletes from all over the world. Since then, cross-country skiers from beginners to professionals have been able to enjoy an even more extensive network of trails and skate in the footsteps of the world champions.

Nordic Competence Centre Seefeld Tyrol – The hot spot for athletes in Nordic disciplines
Built in 1985 and continuously renovated since then, the Nordic Competence Centre in Seefeld has been inspiring professional and amateur athletes alike for decades. Equipped with a modern biathlon facility with 12 fixed stands for small-bore and air rifles, and together with the snow-sure cross-country trails in Seefeld, perfect conditions for comprehensive biathlon training are guaranteed here.
Thanks to a 3.6 km long and 3 m wide roller track, another highlight in the Alpine region, it is also possible to pursue biathlon training in summer. The roller track can be extended in length and altitude as desired and can be completed at various levels of difficulty. The roller track is also ideal for sprint training for cross-country skiers.

The Kaiser Max Loop is one of the most beautiful trails in the Seefeld cross-country skiing network. It winds gently through the snow-covered landscape around Seekirchl for around 9 kilometres, passing sunny meadows, quiet forests and offering magnificent views of the surrounding peaks. Whether classic or skating, cross-country skiers will find ideal conditions here for an enjoyable experience of nature.

The gently sloping, approximately 2.8-kilometre-long circuit runs along the picturesque Leutascher Ache river and offers ideal conditions for classic technique and skating. Perfectly groomed, sunny and with an impressive mountain panorama, the snow farming trail is the ideal place for your first training sessions or enjoyable gliding moments.
