The classic and probably best-known of the sauna variants, the Finnish sauna, is also the hottest of its kind, at 90 to 100° C. Even in the Stone Age, people enjoyed the benefits of sweating together in a room lined with solid wood.

The bio-sauna differs from the Finnish sauna in that it has a lower temperature of between 45 and 60° C and a higher humidity of up to 55 %. This makes it particularly recommendable for sauna beginners as well as for people with cardiovascular problems.

With a temperature of 40 to 60° C, infrared heat penetrates deep into the skin, dilates the vessels and promotes blood circulation. It relieves complaints such as joint and back pain, tension and sore muscles, strengthens the immune system and helps with skin problems.
